(MCD), which has updated its website and the new features will help you track the name of safai karamcharis in your area and you can also file a complaint online.
In an effort to make the site user friendly, the civic body has displayed the list of safai karamcharis along with their service area on their portal. Also, one can make a complaint about MCD's performance to the respective departmental heads and about the malis (gardeners) maintaining parks in your area.u00a0
"People can now directly complaint to the departmental heads and can express their grievances. A number of services are available and the names of safai
karamcharis and malis are put up along with their jurisdiction area. Any one can write to us in case of inconvenience and we will revert back immediately," said MCD commissioner KS Mehra.
So far services like depositing the property tax online and issue of online birth and death certificates were being offered to the public. However, the MCD official said, "These services were not very popular as the MCD staff was not Internet friendly. Presently, the staff is being trained on it."
"The website has also been updated with records of local MCD offices and citizen service bureaus," he added.
