A four-year-old girl who accidentally fell into a 200-feet borewell in Dausa district of Rajasthan Saturday evening, has been rescued, officials said.
The girl, Anju, has been rushed to hospital, officials said on Sunday, but refused to say how she is.
She fell into an open borewell while playing with her friends near Bandikui in Dausa, 100 km from the state capital
According to police official Ramveer Singh, Anju fell into the dry borewell at around 4 p.m. As soon as the police was informed, operations began to rescue the girl, stuck around a level of 48 to 50 feet. Machines were pressed to dig a hole near the borewell.

Over 140 feet of the 200 feet borewell was recently filled by mud.
This is the second such incident in the state since 2007. Suraj, a six-year-old boy, had fallen into a 180 feet borewell near Jaipur in July 2007.
However, the rescue team could not reach Suraj, who was stuck for two days, in time and the boy was found dead.
