Read on to find out why RJ Prithvi is feeling lonesome and neglected these days...ROCC RadioOne College Champions 2009 is here once again to change the lives of college students (contestants), but here is the kahaani mein twist. It has changed my life pleasantly and otherwise...
ROCC has unleashed my unknown side. Responsible, capable, able, focused, a little jealous, a lot more peaceful these are some of the new found adjectives that re-define V. Prithvi while fun, flirt, flirt and flirt are the adjectives that's re-defined my producer Rakesh.
Ok...here's how it works. Rakesh usually works on my show-flow on a daily basis which entails looking up for the latest news, getting in touch with celebrities, liaising, preparing them to go on air and passing on this information to me while I execute this with my signature touch to it.
But the onset of ROCC has changed the equation! I work on my flow, I am all eyes and ears all the time looking for hot news. I am co-ordinating with celebrities, at times I need to bend backwards to ensure all sounds ok (if not great) on air.
Basically I am being Rakesh plus V.Prithvi and that's a chaotic combo if you think about it. Thanks to ROCC! All that Rakesh is actively involved in is the gals from 10 different colleges across the state. Sikkiddh-ay- chance-u! All in the name of ROCC, he seems to be training them to be radio professionals, he frequents the live studios, recording studios with his gang of gals (with a few boys too). He parades the office pretending to teach (wonder what?), and the gals gou2026 Rakeeesh! (squealing!!!). And I bet my life that he is enjoying every bit of this 'Golden-Era' of ROCC, hogging all the attention.
But then life goes on...I am on my own.. the show must go on.. Everything is under control (except Rakesh). I FEEL... NEGLECTED!!!
