A serving naval sailor, Petty Officer Electrical (Radio) Shamsher Singh passed away at Goa Medical College (GMC) on Wednesday.While undergoing treatment at the hospital, Singh succumbed to his injuries from an accident that took place at Bogmalo Beach on January 17.
A case has been registered at Vasco da Gama Police station and an investigation is underway.
The deceased sailor is survived by his wife, two daughters and a son. Singh, a native of Haryana¿s Mohindergarh, was posted at the National Institute of Hydrography, Goa.
