Celebrities in Bangalore do not regret being without a Valentine on a day the world celebrates love; prefer to spend their time with family and friends
Some imagine spending Valentine's Day with their loved ones, far from the maddening crowds. Others feel like dancing the night away with the beloved. Yet this Valentine's Day, most single Sandalwood stars are not ready to mingle.
"I am having a ball being single and am not really bothered," said Sanjana, the Sandalwood actress, who made her debut in Ganda Hendath in, 2008. "If I had a valentine, I would not be in this country on this day. We would have gone away to a lonely island far from the crowd where there will be tons of snow."
This year she gifted herself a pair of diamond earrings and spent the entire day catching up with friends.
"I will gift him a nice watch.
It will make him remember that he has to be in touch with me every hour," said Bianca Desai, a Bollywood model, who made her mark in the Kannada film industry with films like Rocky and Ghulama.
"If he is super rich, then I will not mind getting a Mercedes, but if he is a simple man, I will not mind a bouquet of flowers. If he knows me, he will know the exact thing to pick up for me."
However, she admitted, "It is not nice to be single. I want to mingle with the right guy at the right time."
There are others, who are single and not ready for a relationship, but they don't have any expectations or ideas to woo their partners.
"I don't know what I would gift maybe chocolates or perfumes. But there is no time to think about all that right now," said cricketer Manish Pandey, who is spending this Valentine's Day at Chennai at a tournament.
However, Actor Kiran Srinivas of Haage Summane fame, did not hesitate to imagine what he would do if a gorgeous beauty was by his side on this day. "I would not mind having Megan Fox by my side on a cruise," he said.
Though he added hurriedly, "I don't plan to have someone for the next 15 years. So if there are girls reading this, they know how long to wait for it."
