A lively theatre group that goes on adventure trips just to improve their acting skills

Six months ago Akshay Mishra (20) and Satish Kumar Pandey (21), both students of mass communication, decided to fulfill their dream and formed a theatre group Aagaaz.

They brought together talent from other colleges and now boast of a team of 17 theatre enthusiasts.

The group sincerely believes that theatre is a powerful medium to convey social messages. But what makes this group unique is that they are also passionate about adventure sports. "The adventurous trips are a stressbuster for the members, and they also play a major role in improving co-ordination and language skills for the weaker members," said Mishra. So every month, the group goes on treks or indulges in paragliding, parasailing and other activities.
