High alert sounded in city

The city has been put on high alert after the serial blasts that rocked Mumbai last evening. The entire city police force has been alerted and put on bandobast duty as a preventive measure, said Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) Rajesh Bansode.



"The Pune Anti-Terrorism Cell officers and other police personnel have been deputed at sensitive locations and areas in the city. Nakabandi has been ordered and every vehicle and person entering or leaving the city will be checked," Bansode said.
