Early exams
Board officials say that like last year, this time too the examinations are being held earlier than their usual dates. This is being done to give more time to students who would be preparing for other competitive exams, including IIT-JEE and Common Admission Test (CAT), that take place between April and May.u00a0
For the past two years, the boards have been conducting examinations and announcing results earlier than other boards so that the students get time and extra holidays to reorganise their schedule and preparations for competitive tests.
The ICSE examinations are likely to get over by March 29, while the ISC exam will be completed by April 3.u00a0
