The Indian Mujahideen plans to carry out subversive activities in Kolkata, a top police official said here on Thursday.
"We have received inputs that the Indian Mujahideen is planning to do something. We can't say anything more on this at this moment," the officer said on condition of anonymity.
Asked whether the famous Kali Temple in Kalighat is on the terror radar, he said: "That we can't say now".
"We have definitely received some evidences that it is planning something, but we are not in a position to talk about such specifics".

However, he said the city police were all geared up to thwart any such plans of the terror outfit. "We are doing everything that can be done to prevent any untoward incident."
