He added that foreigners are kept in separate cells for security purposes and given carpets and bed sheets for sleeping. "Indian inmates get chitranna (lemon rice) and puliogare (tamarind rice) as their breakfast," explained Iyer.

Bail sought
The girls had tested positive on the alcometer, and Farmimau00a0 was found to have been driving without a licence. Sub-Inspector Rao Ganesh booked Farima for drunken driving. Azara reportedly got out of the car, tried to forcibly take away the papers from Ganesh's motorcycle box and bit him. The girls are to be produced in court tomorrow.u00a0 "The court has still not considered their bail plea. It is pending till Tuesday. We submitted reports to the Iranian embassy but they have not contacted us so far," said BB Ashok, ACP, Pulakeshinagar. Farima has an engineering degree from BMS College and Azara is a BSc in biotechnology from Dayanand Sagar College.
