While some are predicting an end of Federer era, some others have started eulogizing Nadal.

"Federer's tears told their own story - this is what happens when you get broken down by tennis' ultimate warrior," says this blogger.u00a0

"Can we officially place a moratorium on calling Roger Federer the greatest tennis player of all-time? I have repeatedly insisted that it was premature to even consider Federer for such status in light of the fact that his main rival Rafael Nadal enjoys a dominant head to head record against him," says a blogger.u00a0

In his post, this blogger, David Friedman, feels that the tennis world "firmly belongs to Nadal, who has now defeated Federer in the most recent finals at the French Open, Wimbledon and the Australian Open."

Citing numbers, David argues that Nadal is way ahead of the pace that Federer set at a similar stage in his career.

"Tears or not, tennis ain't a game for sissies," this bloggeru00a0is blunt in his comment.

"Now let me ask you a simple question. Are we witnessing the end of Federer Era and the dawn of a new champion? Are we witnessing the downfall of the World's best ever and the dawn of the World's best ever in the making?" asks this blogger.u00a0u00a0

But not everyone is ready to write off Federer.
"No. This is not the end of the Federer era. The guy is literally in every major final. People need to cut him some slack. He has been the most dominant tennis player ever to play the game. People just need to adjust to the idea of other people winning as well. Federer is amazing. Allow him to be human," says fan in reaction to the above post.
"Four years ago, Federer was brought to tears by the sight of Rod Laver at Laver Arena, handing him his championship trophy. This time around, again with Laver nearby, Federer broke up again while addressing the crowd, and had to take a break before going on," says this tennis fan.u00a0
"Waiting and hoping for Nadal to burn brightly and then flame out would not seem to be the recommended course of action for Federer. So, what he'll do next will be the most interesting story to follow the rest of this season," adds the blogger.
'See a psychologist'

Here's a Roger fanu00a0who feels Federer should see a sport psychologist as "he clearly needs some help with his confidence."
"I think Roger should take a break from the game! He needs to think why does he put so much pressure on himself to win?," says this blogger.
And this blogger couldn't keep himself from praising Rafael.
"I am not a Nadal fan but even I must admit the attention of the awards ceremony should be on Rafael and not Roger since Rafael won the Australian Open. My heart breaks for Roger but this was Rafael's moment to shine. Rafael was so kind to console Roger by hugging him despite the fact it was supposed to be his moment."
He feels that Nadal is clearly dominating Roger because he is mentally stronger then Roger. Roger is not utilizing his strengths enough.
