was all about. In the biggest ever Campus Reality Show of its kind, thirty men along with 11 cameras, followed the students 24X7 for 15 days - just to bring you a crazy slice of their freaked out experiences during their college festivals.u00a0u00a0
Pune's Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication's Fest O' Comm is one of the two college festivals apart from SRCC, Delhi's Crossroads, selected for season one of 'In Your Fest'.u00a0 The Symbiosis campus was agog with excitement when the Channel V team was crawling all over their campus, during Fest O' Comm - which the students recalled fondly.
"It was a good promotion for the college fest. It feels good as the whole nation will get to know how hard we try to make Fest O' Comm what it appears," says Sukhmani Singh, a SIMC Media Management student.u00a0
u00a0 The show actually took you backstage to give you a peek into the challenges and uncertainties that are involved in the making of a successful college fest. "It felt odd in the beginning to have cameras all around. But in due course we got used to it. It was fun to have them around. They were friendly and covered the nitty-gritty of the event. We felt important being under the spotlight," says Akshay Sachdev, a final year Communications Management student at SIMC.
"Of course, it was unusual to have cameras following us 24 hours but I personally enjoyed the whole thing as my byte was taken regarding the accommodation arrangement in the fest. It was fun out and out," says Radhika Mohta, an audio-visual production student.u00a0u00a0
VJ Juhi was in the city to promote the show, as she is the narrator of this reality bite. "The main job is all done by the cameramen; I just connect the stories together, so that nothing appears disjointed. Not a single sweet and sour experience is missed," says Juhi.u00a0
u00a0 "This show is sure to take you down memory lane, back to your college days and will surely add a zing to your life," chirps Juhi. "Besides, the students are all eagerly waiting to be seen on national television," she adds. This show gets aired every Friday 7 pm onwards on Channel [V].
