Domestic private air carrier Jet Airways on Wednesday increased its fuel surcharge by Rs 400 on all domestic sectors with immediate effect.
The increase was necessitated by a sharp hike in aviation turbine fuel (ATF) prices by 33 per cent since March this year, a Jet Airways spokesperson said.
The hike in fuel surcharge would be applicable on all flights of Jet Airways, Jet Airways Konnect and Jet Lite, the spokesperson said.
The increase in fuel surcharge comes following an over 12 per cent increase in ATF prices by state-run oil firms on June 15.
