Sends her obscene e-mails and asks her to either marry him or return the money that he spent on her when they were together
Rangaraju Sheshu Kumar (29), a software engineer working with an Internet giant, has been accused of blackmailing his alleged ex-girlfriend, who's also his relative, after she refused to marry him.
A complaint has been lodged against Kumar by the girl's parents at the Thyagaraja Nagar police station and the cops are on the lookout for him.
P Narasimha Murthy, the victim's father, has told cops that Kumar had confessed his love for his daughter. But when she refused his proposal, he started niggling her over the phone and through e-mails.

Seeing that his attempts were futile, Kumar warned of tarnishing the girl's character and started sending her obscene e-mails.
That's when the girl brought the matter to the notice of her parents. Her father then contacted Kumar's parents who allegedly expressed their helplessness.
Things turned worse when Kumar got to know about the girl's engagement. He sent an e-mail to the bridegroomu00a0warning him not to get engaged to the girl.

Apprehensive of the consequence that they would have to face, the bridegroom's family called off the engagement.
Amusingly, Kumar called the girl again and asked her to either marry him or return around Rs 3 lakh that he had spend on her when they were going around.

Besides, he informed the girl that he would commit suicide and accuse her of being the reason behind his death.

Speaking to MiD DAY, Kumar said, "She borrowed Rs 3 lakh from me before she dumped me."
Talkingu00a0 about the e-mail that he had sent to the girl's fiance, Kumar said, "I just informed him about our relationship. I haveu00a0 the evidence to substantiate my claim. Now, I just want her to return my money."
