Their punchline reads: Unstoppable, uncontrollable, Incorruptible. But it's not just another youth ensemble.

They want their message to spread like wildfire in the urban jungle, believe in singing in the praise of God, and need passionate people who are ready to team up and turn up their tunes manifold. Meet Wild Fire Tribe, a music band that has started playing in the capital's cafu00e9s recently, and has just one wish: to bring a smile on people's faces. We're fascinated.
Humble startThe group came into being through the efforts of an NGO called Co-Operative Outreach of India, which helps the society at large. The NGO raises any issue that needs immediate concern, like betterment of underprivileged kids, and oppressed women. The twenty-something lads, in turn, compose tracks on these issues and play them out loud to garner attention and support.
Open armedThe band, founded by Jojo and Abhishek Kathpal, plays alternate and progressive music, apart from songs of worship. Anyone who has a passion for a cause can join the band and play with them. In fact, they also team up with professional musicians every once a while for a musical rendezvous. "We'll have American Idol runners up Shawn Michael for a gig very soon. We sing only in what we believe, and if you feel about something really strongly, we can help you work on it," offers Abhishek. Their weekly meetings on Thursdays are also something you can be part of, if not the regular sessions on Saturday.
Singing for smilesFor those who wish to go beyond volunteering musically, there's another option: by donating Rs 600 every month, you can sponsor a child's education and living. This apart, you can also start singing with them for your own cause, and get more support. A sweet song to play, ain't it?
