The 22-year-old has alleged that Hazare's aides have insulted the sentiments of Indians by shifting their focus to a single party rather than concentrating on the issue of corruption
A 22-year-old student pursuing law from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIU) has served a legal notice to Anna Hazare and his team for 'misguiding the people of the country'.

The legal notice sent to all the members condemns the team for not sticking to their fight against corruption and shifting its focus to only a single party.
The notice says that lakhs of people got inspired by Anna's movement because it was purely non political and not against any particular political party. But later, the team changed its stance and started targeting only one party, that is, Congress.
Without even waiting for the winter session, representatives from his team announced campaigns against the party in five states going to poll next year and also started campaigning against them in Hissar by-election.

These acts and statements are making a mockery of the law and order situation and trying to destabilise the independent democratic set-up of the country, it says.
'Hidden agenda'
Speaking to MiD DAY, Vibhor Anand, the law student, said, "I have supported the movement for a better India. But recent statements by the team clearly show their hidden political ambitions.

By campaigning against a particular party, the team would indirectly be supporting other national political parties."
"The team is actually diluting the unique character of the anti-corruption movement by taking sides and by using the sentiments of the people of India as the means to reach the helm of political power, which also amounts to corruption and makes all the members guilty of criminal breach of trust that the citizens of India have on the team," Anand added, who also runs a NGO, Astha Nishulk Kanooni Salah Avm Sahayata Kendra, which provides legal aid and counselling to women, poor, downtrodden and the other needy sections of the society, free of cost.
Seeking action
The notice, to which the Ministry of Home Affairs, commissioner of police, Delhi, and DGP Haryana are also a party, seeks them to initiate criminal proceeding against the entire team for causing insult to the sentiments of lakhs of people. It demands that the team tender an unconditional apology to the citizens of India for breach of trust.
