So, you wish you could attend all the great art exhibitions in town, clink your glass against the newsmakers', make a smart comment or two and emerge a fine art connoisseur, while you child is busy filling the same ol' colouring books at home.

Unfair, isn't it? Your li'l brat could be a budding Van Gogh or Leonardo Da Vinci, and all it'd take to fan his or her creativity would be a trip to the city's only out-and-out child gallery, Kroma.

"Paintings here aren't just wall hangings, but educational investments for a child's future," feel founders Anshu Morarka and Samira Khandelwal, who studied the connection between children and colours, and found that visual sequences can help babies of even three months learn and remember for weeks.

The duo's exhibits feature artists whose work incorporates educational art, comical images and well known cartoons such as Winnie the Pooh and Barney among others. This fortnight, South East Asian palette players Monchai Kosolpradit, Joe & Oie and Korn wait to woo your little one.
