Film shoot halted in Connaught Place as crew didn't have proper permission
In the end it turned out to be a comedy of errors. Crew members of the film Boys Toh Boys Hai, a comic caper, who were in the Capital, were forced to pack their bags and leave for not taking proper permission from the NDMC and Delhi police officials. All they wanted was a twenty-second shoot in front of PVR Plaza.

The director had to shoot a song sequence at Barakhamba Road near Connaught Place for which proper permission was taken. But since the film's rights were bought by PVR, they wanted to shoot a song sequence near the PVR Plaza. When the crew members reached the spot and set up their cameras, NDMC officials and police personnel reached there and immediately stopped the entire process.
"We had all the necessary permissions. But since the directors and producers are from Mumbai, they thought that getting a go-ahead for shooting at Barakhamba Road automatically gives them right to shoot at Connaught Place too. This created confusion," said the media co-coordinator of the movie.
The film has already been shot at several places in the capital including Delhi Haat, Pitampura and Talkatora Stadium.
When contacted, NDMC spokesperson said, "Proper permission has to be taken before shooting any movie. This norm was violated and thus the shooting had to be stopped immediately."
