Girish Gogia became 90 per cent paralysed after a diving accident in Goa. Today, this Mumbai resident is a wheelchair user, but has never missed an opportunity to vote, being carried by a team of people to the poll booth.
"You are not just a drop in the ocean, but you also are an ocean in every single drop." We Indians do not need to live any longer just like a floating leaf in a pond.
Girish Gogia is mid-day's election ambassador
Let us all make the best use of our fundamental rights bestowed on us and carry the India growth story forward. If a 90 per cent paralysed man like me, and my wife Eesha who is 70 per cent paralysed, can understand our responsibilities and go to vote, why not millions of Indians?
An increased percentage of voting will be a decisive factor in building a stronger democracy and brighter future for the country. Your âI Will' and your âI Can' is far more important than your IQ.
If he can, why can't you? Vote!
