In the form of a first of its kind portal comes a good news for all those who subscribe to the idea of living with 'someone' without getting married. A must surfing
Just like the LGBT community, those into live-in relationships live a cocooned life. They've fears to deal with, but no one to help.
While it will still take time for the so-called 'social animals' to accept this mushy version of relationships, a group of technicians of Ahmedabad have come up with a portal that'll help those into live-relationship deal with the ironies of this contemporary situation.u00a0 Read on
It's serious
It's not one of those casual dating websites. As the developers put it, "The idea is to connect with only serious endorsers of the concept." To project it as a 'sane' platform, the site offers only those options that allow users to reveal their personality, try this format of relationship and talk about the qualities that they want in their partners.
What you can do?
The subscribers can find their live-in partners using the combination of age, location and profession. Once you're a member of this portal, you can recommend or forward suitable profiles that you have come across to your friends. To maintain privacy, attract genuine attention and keep juvenile surfers away, the members can be contacted only through private messages. "Members also have the option of blocking a rogue user. Such reported abhorrent attempts will be subject to IP restrictions and other suitable treatments like permanent deletion," points out Purvang Rawal, one of the owners of the concept. While membership isn't necessary to do a quick search, however, in order to connect with a prospective partner, one needs to register. To keep it open to everyone who can contribute to the cause of live-in partners, the developers have decided to do away with joining fee or subscription charges.
It's like a test-tube
The portal will provide users an option to try live-in relationships before committing to a life-long relationship by getting married. They would get a chance to explore strengths, weaknesses, honesty, different shades, and emotional responses of a live-in relationship. "Our portal will welcome its target subscribers with a communication campaign that will reinforce and enrich their views on live-in relationships. We will try to reflect the subtlety of emotions and likely situations that would surround such a decision. The idea is to bring utmost honesty, care, endurance and willingness to accommodate the other person's views," adds Jitendra Bulani, another member of the team. With time, the portal will also introduce a chat module.
