Victim was about to board a flight to Lucknow
Three people stole Rs four lakh from a Delhi-based businessman at Indira Gandhi International airport on February 25.

"I was to board a flight to Lucknow and was standing in a queue to get my boarding pass at Air India counter EO3 when three men surrounded me. After a little while, I noticed that Rs four lakh cash which I was carrying was missing from my pocket. I immediately reported the matter to the CISF personnel posted there. We checked the CCTV footage and found that the money was stolen by three persons who had left the airport immediately after committing the crime," said the victim Sunil.
The IGI police registered an FIR after going through the CCTV footage provided to them by CISF personnel. Police said that no one has been arrested so far. After the incident, Sunil had to cancel his ticket as he was questioned by the police about the incident.u00a0 "I paid Rs 900 for cancellation of the ticket and later booked another ticket on Go airline as I had to attend an urgent meeting in Lucknow," said he .
