With a cup of coffee, a good book or with friends...
Bangaloreans are getting a taste of the pakoda-and-chai weather. MiD DAY finds out what people do when it rains.
Come again another day: Going to work on a rainy day is hardly fun, and those who can afford to skip it, look forward to it, they tell us |
Sanjana, actor
"If it's a very lazy day and it's raining, I would probably enjoy it by not getting out of bed or maybe watch a movie and spend time with my family. I do get worked up at times when it rains thinking about the people living in the slums. I pray that it rains but not too much where it would affect them."

"I would like to watch a family film or some animated film like Kung Fu Panda. On the other hand, I would also like to order for those pizzas they say they can get over in 30 or 45 minutes and see if they can do it in the rain!
I sit on the balcony with a nice hot cup of coffee and a book in hand and just enjoy the rain
Ashok Kheni, managing director, Nandi Infrastructure Corridor Enterprise
I would sit in my room watching the rain for hours with a hot cup of coffee or soup. I would then probably listen to some soft music to set the mood! And read a book like Twilight. Something mushy
