An MBA graduate and a courier delivery boy have been held here for cloning credit cards, officials said Monday.

"They used to clone the cards and used them for shopping," said Babu Lal, station house officer, DLF phase two police station. The MBA graduate, identified as Faraz Ahmed, reportedly asked the courier delivery boy to give him the credit cards before giving them to customers.

"Faraz, with the help of Sanjeev Kumar, who is a courier boy, stole data from 35 credit cards of various banks and cloned three of them. They used to come to Gurgaon for shopping but this time we arrested them," Babu Lal added. The interrogation reveals that Faraz had a Chinese machine which he used to clone the cards.

"Faraz first stored the data on his computer and then made clones of the card through the machine," the officer said.

Ahmed, who has been jobless for the past few months, used to earlier work for an MNC in Gurgaon. He is a resident of Meerut in Uttar Pradesh.

The duo have confessed to the crime and said they have done shopping worth Rs.3 lakh with the cards so far.
