The proceedings of the MCD Standing Committee, the primary decision-making body of the civic agency, will be available online from February 15.
It will be a step in the direction of ensuring a paperless administration in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, Standing Committee Chairman Vijender Gupta said on Wednesday.
He said the Standing Committee will be the first such body in the country whose proceedings will be online.
The chairman also directed that the meeting hall will be equipped with wi-fi arrangements.
Municipal Commissioner KS Mehra said that the members or municipal officers who could not operate computers, will be trained to do so at the computer laboratory of the MCD's Engineering Department. "Professionals are available there to impartu00a0 training to the members," Mehra said.
