While the organising committee arranged for a charted flight for VIP dignitaries attending the meet, netas vying for reservations or free seats created chaos in the assembly.

The organisers booked a 62-seater ATR belonging to Jet Airways that will fly from Bangalore to Belgaum on March 11, carrying dignitaries including Chief Minister, B S Yeddyurappa, N R Narayana Murthy, his wife Sudha Murthy, writers U R Ananthamurthy, G S Shivarudrappa, G Venkatasubbia.
While 25 seats were reserved for the dignitaries, the organisers have planned to sell the rest to event participants. "If we offer free tickets to only a few, others will create problems. We don't know what to do. We have requested the CM to convince the heads of the committee and hope that he works something out," said an organiser.
Meanwhile actress Tara, was annoyed at being asked to take a bus leaving Bangalore at 10 pm last night with all the other stars and MLAs. She on the other hand wanted to fly. "I can't understand this discrimination. I don't know who is flying, but I have to travel by road all night," she said. She added, "Many were unhappy with the arrangements and I'm just voicing their sentiments."
