Suspecting the character of his wife, Narendra Lalchand Godse (27), a resident of Rag Vilas Society, Koregaon Park, had a scuffle with his wife Komal (23), and broke her nose at 11.45 pm yesterday. She was admitted to Sassoon Hospital's casualty ward at 1.30 am.
u00a0The Bund Garden police have arrested Narendra and booked him under section 338 (causing major physical injury). Komal was admitted to the casualty ward and was in a frightened state of mind. Doctors did a checkup, and put her on saline.u00a0
u00a0"My husband suspected that I was having an affair with my brother-in-law,"u00a0 said Komal, who is 6 months pregnant. Dr Shivaji Marela, CMO, Sassoon Hospital, said that Komal's nasal bone is totally broken and she needs to be operated upon. She has also sustained head and neck injuries. "We are providing her all necessary treatment," he added.
