The Special Cell of the Delhi Police is looking for three suspected terrorists, who are believed to be planning a major terror attack on the city.
The police received information about the trio from the Intelligence Bureau. The Special Cell has launched a massive operation to nab the trio believed to be hailing from Pampore district.
Sources said there were inputs that the trio - identified as Bilal Ahmed Bagh, Ibrahim Sheikh and Shahjahan - were spotted in a busy locality in the Capital, following which police have stepped up their efforts.
"Posters have been put up at places like Pragati Maidan, where a large number of people are converging for the IITF," said a senior police officer on the condition of anonymity.

Last week, the Special Cell had apprehended Abdullah Inquilabi, a self-styled divisional commander of Hizbul Mujahideen, from south Delhi's IIT area. He is believed to have come to Delhi to find a hide-out. Inquilabi hails from Muzaffarabad in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. |
