The King of Pop has hired popular Hollywood choreographer Kenny Ortega to come with a fresh signature move for his O2 Arena concerts. Jackson is leaving no stone unturned to make sure that his new dance moves become as popular as his iconic moonwalk.
Ortega is the man behind Patrick Swayze's sleek moves in cult classic 'Dirty Dancing' as well as Disney's superhit franchise 'High School Musical'.
However, this is not the first time that Ortega has teamed up with Jackson. He had earlier worked with the 'Thriller' hitmaker for his 'Dangerous' and his 'History' world tour in 1997, which was Jackson's last.
"To be invited to partner him again is a dream come true. He is a creative mastermind and inspires every one of us to climb to new places and conquer new challenges. He is the most significant artist and entertainer of our generation," Ortega said.
Jackson has already started practicing the moves in his California studio.
Ten dancers u2014 eight men and two women out of the 700 who auditioned in Los Angeles last week u2014 have joined the singer and Ortega as backup dancers for the show.
