India's tennis ace Leander Paes arrives at the Bangaloreu00a0 International Airport last night after a successful Australian Open campaign. The 36-year-old won his 11th Grand Slam title in Melbourne Park on Sunday, when he and Zimbabwean partner Cara Black comfortably beat Russia's Ekaterina Makarova and Czech partner Jaroslav Levinsky 7-5, 6-3u00a0 in the mixed doubles final. Paes is now on par with Mahesh Bhupathi to become India's highest Grand Slam title winner. |
As per the procedure, Razmjooi submitted the requisition with the Mysore city police Commissionerate along with the bonafide certificate from the West End College of Computer Science and Management.
The certificate stated that Razmjooi has taken admission for the BBM course and also had the seal and signature of the college principal.
The requisition was sent to city commission office that forwarded the same to the special branch for verification.
The case was then handed over to Deputy Superintendent of police (special branch), Nirmala Harish who went to verify the antecedents with the college.
The Principal informed Harish that the certificate was fake and no student by that name had been enrolled in the college.
Further verification established Razmjooi was not staying at the Mysore address submitted to the city police.
Harish has filed a complaint with the Cubbon park police asking them to trace Razmjooi who has been missing since then.

"We suspect foul play as he would not have to forge the bonafide certificate to get visa extension," said the Cubbon park police, who are investigating the case.
"We would know the reason behind this crime, only when we apprehend him," said Cubbon park police Inspector H S Jagadish added.
