Chhaya had returned from Newark via Jet Airways 9W 227 on Sunday and was shocked when he found his baggage to be nowhere in Mumbai's Terminal 2, as mid-day had reported on Friday.

He finally received the missing baggage on Friday.
Chhaya said, "I got a call from the head of the baggage department of the airline (Jet) that my baggage will be delivered on Friday noon. What is strange is that when I spoke to this head of department on Thursday night at 10 pm, he still said they had no idea where my bag was and it was probably still in Newark, but within 12 hours I got a call that my bag was being delivered in an hour or two. It was delivered to me at 12.30 pm on Friday."
He added, "This happened only because the issue was highlighted, but the scary part is what must be happening to folks who probably don't know people who can help. Had it not been for mid-day highlighting this issue, and my friend reaching out to folks at Jet Airways, I would still have been following up with Jet."
