With the city still unsettled over Bal Thackeray's deteriorating health, the fate of some eagerly awaited weekend events hangs in the balance. CRY, a well-known NGO, has postponed its Children's Day event which was scheduled for today to the approaching Wednesday. While CRY refused to comment, MiD DAY has obtained a mail from CRY's PR department that announces the fresh date for theu00a0Children's Day event.

The mail says that in view of the present situation in Mumbai, CRY has decided to postpone the launch of its Child in You campaign to November 21. Another event that could be affected is the much-anticipated live performance of renowned EDM trio Swedish House Mafia, scheduled for today at the Royal Western India Turf Club in Mahalaxmi.

Pandurang Sakpal, Shiv Sena Vibhag Pramukh for South Mumbai, said, "We will request the club not to hold this live performance tomorrow."
Even a Third Year Bachelor of Arts (TYBA) examination that was scheduled for today by the University of Mumbai stands a chance of being postponed. The varsity officials have appealed to students to keep checking the official website www.mu.ac.in for updates.
Deepak Wasave, in-charge, Controller of Examinations, said, "There is only one TYBA exam for Sociology scheduled in four centres. In case tension erupts in the city, we will inform examination centres and also update the Mumbai University website. Hence students are requested to keep checking the website. We will take a decision by tonight if changes need to be made to the timetable." u00a0
