The Dutch psychedelic trance duo, GMS, has been ruling the night space for over two decades now. The brainchild of Shajahan Matkin, commonly known as Riktam, and Joseph Quinteros aka Bansi, the duo has managed to create a loyal fanbase through a series of compilations (Genetic Process, Zero Gravity, The Outer Limits and Spunout in Ibiza) and private albums (The Hitz, No Rules, The Remixes, Emergency Broadcast System, Chaos Laboratory and The Remixes). If you haven't gone in trance for long, your time is now. And yes, this one is open for stags too.

Actor absconding
Crazy Spotlight Productions have proved their mettle with their earlier theatrical numbers The Script, Is Everyone Here Yet?, Pardeh Ke Peeche Kya Hai and Fasten Your Seatbelt. The stage is all set for their current summer production, One Night Only, a comedy inspired by Ken Ludwig's Lend me a Tenor. The story revolves around a renowned theatre artist who suddenly goes missing three minutes prior to the opening of his show.

Story to tell
Attend this exhibition of paintings portraying kites and freedom. It features symbolic and meaningful paintings by prominent painters like Sudip Roy, Kanchan Chandra, Krishna Dutta, Lokesh Verma, Laxman Aeley, Manoj Dutta, and Ashok. All the paintings portray an unusual relation between kites and Independence Day, the day India discovered herself again. The artists are giving freedom their own meaning in the form of birds, etc.u00a0 The images give a long lasting feeling of patriotism.

Screening: India By Song

How about tracing the journey of our country since the time we gained Independence? That is what writer-filmmaker Vijay Singh has portrayed in his documentary India by Song. The movie has been weaved around a road journey and brings together a medley of things like history, Bollywood song clips, live testimonies and contemporary images. The docu was also screened at the Cannes Film Festival.
