NGO busts flesh trade racket in Pune

Shyam Kamble of the Freedom firm, an NGO, got a tip from West Bengal that five women were being brought to Puneu00a0by Howrah mail and were suppose to be soldu00a0to a brothel in the city. The police arrested the pimp who was transporting the girls and also Gauri Tamang, the brothel owner from Budhwar Peth, in Pune.

"We informed the police in the night and with their help we caught the pimp and rescued the girls at 6.50 am the moment the train reached Pune station," said Kamble.
