The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) has felicitated Duke Fashions (India) Ltd with the National Award 2008 for Outstanding Entrepreneurship for use and choice of technology, export, innovations, diversification, in-house testing facilities, pollution and control measures, quality standards, welfare measures, etc.

Crowning glory: At the award ceremony


The award was presented to Duke director Kuntal Raj Jain by MSME minister Dinsha Patel at a ceremony graced
by Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh.

Duke had bagged the National Award for Quality products by MSME last year.

The four decade-old, Ludhiana-based Duke Fashions has earlier received the ITID National Award for manufacturing Quality Garments, ISO 9001: 2000 certificate for maintaining TQM in all the Units, Udyog Patra by Govt of India, an Employee Safety Award and a retail excellence award.

Duke has also been proclaimed the number one selling T-Shirt brand in India by ORG-MARG in their survey.
