Titled Te Divas (Those Days), the book was released simultaneously in Mumbai, Nagpur, Aurangabad and Satara. Dilip Majgaonkar of Rajhans Prakashan that has published the book, said, "Tendulkar gave me the handwritten first draft when he was at Prayag Hospital. He was planning to make some changes to it, but his poor health prevented him from doing so."
He added that the 100-page book analyses several issues that the state has faced in the 50s and 60s. Besides, Te Divas captures the hardships and joys of a 19-year-old Tendulkar's life.
This book also gives interesting information about Rashtriya Swayansevak Sangh (RSS). Tendulkar used to attend RSS meetings in his early school days but later he turned into one of its harshest critics.
The author had told this reporter on his 80th birthday that the book would chronicle a series of socio-political events he had witnessed.
"It will be my social biography in which, I will analyse the six decades after Independence," the late Tendulakar had said.
Tendulkar was also a good cartoonist as well and drewseveral sketches in his last days. "We hope to publish a book solely on his drawing and sketching caricatures," Majgaonkar said.
