The Delhi police have arrested one more pilot for allegedly using forged marksheet to procure Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL). The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has also forwarded names of two more pilots, Jigesh G Bhai Patel and Saurabh P Lokhande, to the Delhi Police's Crime Branch for having submitted forged marksheets to obtain CPLs.


"The accused pilot Rohit Kapoor (22), a resident of Dwarka, was apprehended from RK Puram area on Wednesday. The police have so far arrested 11 pilots, three DGCA officials, a middleman and two forgers in the 'fake' pilot scam while the Jaipur Police have arrested two 'fake' pilots.

The police have so far cracked four modules involved in supplying forged marksheets to help these pilots procure licences. However, Patel and Lokhande are yet to be arrested," said Ashok Chand, DCP Crime & Railways.
