Acclaimed scientist, thinker and founder of Gene Campaign Foundation, Dr Suman Sahai will speak on the impact of climate change on Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs), specifically the impact on farmers and also, ultimately, on citizens at large, in an open house interactive session at St Andrews College in Bandra on Monday.
The event, which will be held from 10.45 am, hopes to attract people from all walks of life. The 90-minute talk will be followed by an open house.
The event has been organised by the JM Foundation for Excellence in Journalism www.citizensreport.in.
The award-winning scientist will also field questions on challenges to farmers' rights, among other related issues. Entry to the event is free. u00a0
