Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday conducted an aerial survey of the flood affected areas in Gujarat.
CMO Gujarat tweeted, "PM Shri @narendramodi took stock of the situation emerged due to heavy rains & floods in some parts of the state in a meeting at Ahmedabad."
Heavy rains in the past few weeks have created havoc in the state. 25,000 people were shifted, mostly in Banaskantha, as it witnessed its worst floods in recent years. Rescue operations yesterday resumed in rain-hit areas of Rajasthan's Jalore district where 19 people have been rescued.
