Union Minister for External Affairs SM Krishna on Thursday said that Pakistan should show the same force in fighting anti-India terrorists and organisations in the same manner as it has done in fighting Taliban and other militant organisations in Swat.
"Pakistan has taken certain steps in fighting Taliban in Swat and we expect that Pakistan should go after the Talibans who are directed against India with the same force that they have been going after Taliban in Swat.
That's what we expect from Pakistan," Krishna told journalists when asked if Pakistan was showing commitment in fighting terrorists who target India.
"Any terrorist who has taken a position and whose role in handling a terrorist organization aimed at India, the emphasis is any head of a terrorist organization which is directed against India, I think Pakistan should take action against them," Krishna added.
Krishna said this while interacting with journalists while returning from Thailand, where he participated in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Regional Forum meeting.
Krishna further highlighted that both India and Pakistan would have to work together, if they have to successfully counter the terrorist organistions and terrorists, who have been active in both the countries and have been responsible for loss of thousands of innocent people.
