Hussein was not in a position to speak. He was put on saline as he was vomiting.
Dr Kankule, chief medical officer at Sassoon hospital said he had head injures and the vomiting indicated that there may be some internal injuries also. The Kondhawa police were unable to get any information about Hussein. Except a diary found on his person, there was nothing more in his pocket. Not even a telephone number was written in the small diary, the police said.
