Indulge your fetish for all kinds of bags -- clutches, totes, purses and jholas -- at a bags-only shopping exhibition at Khar's Out Of The Blue Restaurant.
Dat's My Bag is a new label launched by young designers Pranali Raut and Tasneem Bhavnagarwala. While Pranali has been into making bags for a while, six months ago she collaborated with Tasneem, who paints on various surfaces when she's not busy with advertising assignments at her day job.
The exhibition includes clutches, college bags, totes and purses in materials like tote canvas, raw silk, cotton, satin, etc. The handcrafted bags are priced between Rs 600 to Rs 1,500. "Keeping the festive mood in mind, we've concentrated on creating clutches and purses that can be carried as part of a trousseau or to a formal event," says Tasneem. The two can also custom design a bag for you as per your requirement.
