Residents of Delhi woke up to a pleasant morning Friday after the national capital witnessed scattered rains the night before. The met department has predicted thundershowers later in the evening.
"We recorded 0.2 mm of rainfall in the capital in the last 24 hours. The rain is basically because of a cyclonic circulation over Rajasthan," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
"There is a likelihood of more thundershowers in some parts of the capital in the evening," the official added.
Although it was quite breezy, the minimum temperature early in the day remained a good five degrees above the average. It was recorded at 28 degrees Celsius.
