Sources claim there is possibility of nine BJP MLAs putting in their papers under the influence of JD(S)

Even though it may seem that the political crisis is over, sources say that the JD(S) is planning another coup, and a fresh drama will unfold with the resignation of a handful of BJP MLAs.

"Yeddyurappa seems relaxed now, but we won't leave him in peace," said a source in the JD(S). "Some of the BJP legislators will resign soon and this time it is for sure that the government will fall."

According to him, at least nine MLAs were lined up to join hands with HD Kumaraswamy, state president, JD(S), who is expected to spearhead the coup yet again.

While in all his efforts, local Congress leaders supported Kumaraswamy, this time the JD(S) is understood to have decided to act alone, sources say.

"We no longer believe in Congress and we are not asking for their support in our fight against corruption," said Kumaraswamy.

" For us, both Congress and BJP are the same, as they are colluding to finish off local parties."

While the JD(S) is disappointed with its failed efforts to topple the government, this time the party leaders are reportedly meticulously planning so that they will hit the target.

Kumaraswamy, who had depended on the mining lords from Bellary for funds to pay up the BJP MLAs, last time, is reportedly taking extra interest this time and is putting in his own money.

"It is important for Kumaraswamy and his father Deve Gowda to destabilise the government because they fear Yeddyurappa will turn vindictive and trouble them by revisiting scams during their regime," said the source.

However, JD(S) leaders are not willing to admit this publicly. "We don't indulge in any such activities, but we will continue our fight against corruption," said AP Ranganath, secretary, legal cell, JD(S).

Kumaraswamy has lodged an additional complaint against the CM on land scams with the Lokayukta.
