The murder of Umesh, a 27-year-old BPO employee, has taken a new turn.u00a0 The police are now suspecting his wife, Any Mary, might haveu00a0 murdered him.
According to the police, Umesh's post mortem reportu00a0 reveals poisonous substances were found in his stomach.
They suspect thatu00a0 Mary's affair before marriage couldu00a0 be the motive behind the murder.u00a0
Mary had told the police that she could not attend the 'visitors' at the door as she had fallen sick. In her complaint, she also said that theu00a0 gang of four tied her hands and legs, plastered her mouth and dumped her in a room.u00a0 Despite this, she managed to reach the neighbouring house and banged the door with her head. The police suspect how the gang could have let Mary escape from the house while they gagged and left Umesh.
The police have also verified Mary's moblie call listu00a0 which corroborates their theory of her plotting her husband's murder. "We will detain her for questioning after all the rituals and other formalities are completed," the police said.
