This year, the company has decided to concentrate on children and came up with ideas like 'Lighting the Sparks' to start toy and book libraries across India and also collaborated with 'Make A Wish' foundation.
Kartik Sharma (Maxus), Rajeev Berry (Matrix) and Deepak Jayram (GroupM Dialect) fulfilled the wishes of Arvind, Deepak, Vikas and Ganesh who were suffering from life-threatening ailments.
The happiness on the children's faces was heart warming as their wishes came true. Deepak rode his bicycle with pride, while Arvind donned cricket gear he had been longing for. Vikas was delighted to receive a stereo system and Ganesh was happy with his football kit.
Background
For the last two years Group M, as a part of its CSR, has instituted the Power Of One Day wherein, during February of every year, volunteers from the organisation visit an NGO, identify their immediate needs and try to fulfil them.
