In a statement, Agrawal alleged that the state government had given permission to his film unit only for shooting at the hill station and not for cutting trees. He alleged that at 'Lover Point', Jha's unit chopped off nearly a dozen 25-30 feet long trees.

Quoting Pachmari Cantonment Board's Superintendent, Babulal Rakesh, Agrawal said that the district administration has not yet taken cognisance of the development but the Board would take an action against it as per its Act.

Agrawal said that Senior Citizen's Forum of Pachmari has also warned that if the district administration did not take cognisance of the matter, they would stage protest.

Efforts to contact Jha proved futile as he was not answering calls made on his cell phone.
