The week opened with Team Anna adopting various means of putting pressure on MPs, as supporters gathered outside their homes.

While protesters sang devotional and patriotic songs, accompanied by slogans, expecting the parliamentarians to lend them an ear, they were zipped away to police stations. Sources in Delhi Police, however, said 350-400 protesters raised slogans and sang bhajans outside the Chief Minister's home without any hindrance.

Protesters assembled outside Sibal's home at 19, Teenmurti Marg around 9:30 am on Monday, in batches of three-four. As they arrived, the cops put them in jeeps and took them away. Umesh Sarangi, a supporter, said, "This is totally undemocratic. We came with peaceful intentions."

A senior police officer said, "The protesters came in huge numbers and sang 'Raghupati Raghav' They made demands to pass the Jan Lokpal Bill. We did not detain them. They sang and left after 45 minutes."
