National Akali Dal is appalled at the recent expose of sexual scandals that took place behind the scenes of MTV's popular reality show Splitsvilla 2 and Star TV Sach Ka Samana during a protest near I& B Ministry in New Delhi on Wednesday.
In recent past, many ex-contestants came forward to bring to light instances of casting couch and sexual favourism that were part of the production process, leaving the whole country in a state of utter shock.

According to Paramjeet Singh Pamma, president National Akali Dal, these reality shows do nothing but provoke indecency and obscenity, thereby contradicting the very core values of Indian culture and hence they are opposing to it.
"The participants had to go through murky ordeals like pleasing the judges in ways too dirty for words, and others who did not oblige were ousted without valid reason," he said.
This is nothing but a case of unfair exploitation of the female sex and an absolutely unethical code of conduct.
They urged the Ministry to bring the wrongdoers to book, and ban any series or channel engaging in frivolous, mindless and sensational pursuits fed by glamour gluttony and semi-clad seduction.
Pamma, while addressing the protestors, said that it is a matter of great regret that govt. is not taking care of these type of reality shows which are provoking indecency in our Society.
