Pune's notorious gangster nabbed in New Delhi

Pune police, on Sunday late night arrested a notorious gangster in New Delhi.

The arrested gangster has been identified as Bapu Prabhakar Nayar. More than 12cases of murder, attempt to murder, extortion and illegal land grabbing cases has been registered against him. He was also booked under MCOCA and was wanted by Kondhwa police in forging and trespassing land in Pune for last six months.

The anti-extortion cell Pune's crime branch lead by Anil Patil had received tip off about Nayar whereabouts in New Delhi.

Inspector Anil Patil said, "We had traced him in New Delhi and had approached Noida court for his transit. He will be brought to Pune soon."
