Doctors have suggested immediate hospitalisation of yoga guru Ramdev whose indefinite fast against corruption and black money entered seventh day today as his health parameters continued to remain "worrisome".
"His blood pressure is 104/70 which is low and pulse rate is 58 per minute which is also low. If his pulse rate and BP continue to go down, it may put some pressure on his heart. We found that his health is going down. It is worrisome," Chief Medical Officer Yogesh Chandra Sharma said after conducting medical examination of Ramdev.
The CMO said there are 183 people in Patanjali ashram who are sitting on fast with the 46-year-old yoga guru.
"We have recommended him immediate hospitalisation. He should be admitted on priority basis. I have sent my report to the District Magistrate and response is awaited," Sharma said.

The CMO said he found that Ramdev was suffering from dehydration and that he has been advised to break his fast which has been rejected by the yoga exponent.
"There is not much improvement in his health after he started taking lemonade. We have advised him to take glucose which he has denied... He needs to be medically examined and taken to hospital. (His associate) Balakrishna's health is satisfactory," Sharma said.
